Favourites: Paris Fashion Week A/W 2014 | Chanel

Here are some of my favourite looks from the Chanel A/W 2014 show at Paris Fashion Week.

It's trainers on the runway again with Chanel this season.

Karl Lagerfeld clearly spared no expense on set design, transforming the Grand Palais into a Chanel mini-mart with a surprisingly-detailed assortment of own-brand items. The collection featured metallics and candy colours aplenty with structured outerwear and over-sized jumpers giving the sports luxe theme the androgynous edge. The pieces felt very "flexible", identifying with the playful, independent woman of any age who likes to look incredibly fashionable whilst doing even the most mundane of tasks. Cinched-in waists gave boxy coats a more feminine appeal, with ripped fabrics, pastels and tweed keeping the collection bang on-trend for next season. It's brilliance à la Lagerfeld, once again.
