On Wednesday, We Heard... SaySo

This week, I've got another submission for you - and it's a really good one (aren't they all?)

Twenty-year-old poet/photographer Nayla Hull, who goes by the stage name SaySo, slid the first two tracks off what I presume is her first official mixtape, yet to be released, into my SC inbox - and it was love at first listen.

SaySo is one of those artists who puts the P back into rap. A self-proclaimed poet, the Treelo-produced Blind speaks more volumes about her potential than any post actually could. This is one act I will definitely keep an eye out for.

I'm getting increasingly impressed by the quality of indie music still being put out. The music industry is seriously lacking in its reflection of what Hip Hop is actually becoming for our generation, right here on the ground, where it all started in the first place. But it will happily alert people to the November release of Pitbull's new album... tut-tut.

Nayla's first mixtape will be out later this year. You can keep up with her with the links below.
