Holiday Guide: Gifts for Her

Holiday Guide: Presents for Her | Ses Rêveries

This set was a lot harder to put together than I thought...

There are too many factors to consider when it comes to shopping for women. Guys are much simpler creatures. Even with their individual differences, there are countless things you could buy that could appease even the most discerning of males. But girls aren't as easy-going, most of the time. It really does depend on age, taste, personality etc etc.

As I don't have a lot of experience with buying presents for non-related females - I generally don't get on with members of my own gender that well (which may or may not worry you r.e. my credibility as a gift adviser) - I've tried to keep this as basic as possible. This is probably the safest gift guide for women you will ever find.

19. "Ticket" can stand for anything; a gift card, a spa day, a stay in a hotel, a cruise/trip etc. Go crazy!

Just to note: Beware of "face make-up." Things can go very wrong if you don't know her exact shades - yes, there's a range of shades required to achieve just one of the many, many looks apparently, for reasons that involve the words "contouring" and "highlighting." I don't understand any of that either, to be honest; my fear is that she might end up with a face-body colour mismatch situation - not good. Mascara, nail polish and other such beauty items are alright though.

For a similar reason, I've avoided heels because some ladies aren't the same size in every store. Santa's Little Helper tip: raid her closet, pick a store she's bought from before and check what size she is there.
